Why it’s here

A man who gives up his dreams for his family and town is shown, by heaven's mercy, how much one faithful life matters. Prayer, providence, sacrifice, and marriage sit at the center of it.

Context notes

For parents, before you press play.

In despair, George considers taking his own life on a bridge, and a grieving druggist strikes young George until his ear bleeds; George is rescued and shown his life's worth. He gets drunk and lashes out at his family before begging forgiveness, so be ready to talk about despair and hope, especially with younger viewers.
